MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL
The Middle and High School Department is comprised of Grades 6 to 12. Students are segregated from Grade 6 in the classroom, but share common areas and school facilities throughout the day.
The Educational Program:
We offer your child a broad and balanced curriculum which places emphasis upon the major aspects of children’s physical, emotional, social and cognitive development. The curriculum promotes child-centered learning and will provide your child with a challenging, stimulating environment.
In the Middle and High School we follow the Virginia Standards. These standards have been modified to meet the student’s needs. All the teaching resources are American schemes. On the near horizon we will be offering Problem Based Learning, 1:1 BYOT (Bring Your Own Tablet) Technology initiative. We will also will offer Computer Coding, leadership training, STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) and a new American college collaborative STEM program. We have identified 30 female and male students who will participate in this yearlong college STEM curriculum and then travel to the United States for a 3 week closing STEM project ceremony.
